US backed Ethiopia declares war on Somalia
No Happy New Year for a couple of million people in the Horn of Africa. By the US junta's media the hoax of Al Qaeda is used again, this time to start a war by accusing Somalia. The lack of evidence is as always covered with propaganda, bombs and drowned in blood. With the help of Uganda.
FPF - Dec. 26th 2006 - The fact that US backed Ethiopia declared war on Somalia, starting to kill and destroy the people and country, is justified by all US mainstream media. According to the propaganda Ethiopia is fighting 'al Qaeda and it's terrorism'. Seeing that pretext, we all know something is fishy. That's correct. We are for instance not supposed to know that last December 6, the US/UN/NATO's so called 'Security Council' in New York of course 'approved' a US backed 'draft resolution' which calls for a stop of the arms embargo on Somalia; the latest free-fire zone.
Meaning the US arms industry and other criminals are 'justifying' all they via the CIA etc. have sent already, and in the future will sell to them. Because the group which is supposed to take the power in Somalia using the al Qaida fake is backed by the US. And the group stupidly accused of 'terrorism' like so many others is the 'Islamic Courts Union' which build schools, gave medicare and some future to the people.
Ethiopia's Prime Minister, Meles Zenawi, told his country in a televised address that they felt threatened by Somalia. Which was a blatant lie, backed by the mainstream media as usual. And so they bombed with US trained pilots in Northrop planes of what now is called 'the Ethiopian air force'. The whole scheme is backed by the US junta and it's war machine. Included in it's global intelligence and financing are also the Ethiopian collaborators which now have started another proxy war for the US interests. The whole coffee market (Starbucks) in Ethiopia is in multinational hands, and more than fifty percent of the people are dirt poor. No wonder the average Ethiopian is not getting older than 45 to fifty. That's what the global thieves and usurers from the World Bank, IMF, USAID and other forms of fake 'development' have done: they bleed every country and most people to death.
In the meantime the 'gov't stooges' in Ethiopia are expecting at their headquarters in the capital Addis Abbeba that it may also solve some of Ethiopia's own problems. As the 'special advisors' from the US etc. have told them. Since Ethiopia is landlocked, they also want to get the strategic and profitable harbors and coast of Somalia. Both Ethiopia and Eritrea are already in the junta's hands, and now it seems to be Somalia's turn. RICE: INVOLVES UGANDA IN THE WAR
This new disaster 'made in the US' was also discussed last Friday during the 'bury-bad-news-days' by U.S Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice with Ugandan foreign minister Sam Kutesa in Washington. The US has via their stooge Musaveni whom they made prime minister in colonized Uganda already special forces and troops in neighboring Somalia and wants Uganda to play a significant role in the US operation called ''the East African peacekeeping mission''.
Expected to protect the beleaguered Somali government which is supported by the US but based in the southern town of Baidoa instead of the now bombed capital Mogadishu. According to the globally despised Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice she believes that al-Qaeda elements are backing the rebel Islamic Courts Union. Which of course is total idiocy and the usual pretext to further the own interests of the US junta. Whether in this conflict engulfing the Horn of Africa one or ten million people die is totally irrelevant to the warmongers involved. Hundred thousands have already become refugees, on the run for the new quagmire the US war machine and it's mercenaries have started.
ETHIOPIA HAS 25 BILLION CUBIC METERS OF NATURAL GAS
To the US junta and their managing warlords in London, Ethiopia is very important because they also have twenty-five Billion cubic meters of natural gas in proven reserves. So the US group has developed the collaboration for years, equipping and training people of the Ethiopian army in the US etc. According to military sources the Ethiopian armed forces are by far the best troops in East Africa. "America has long seen Ethiopia as its major ally in Africa, and a staging ground. It's where the US Air Force can land its planes to sort of, you know, spy on the Middle East." Like Israel is running parts of Eritrea. On the propaganda agenda is also the chosen government in Sudan which refuses an invasion by 20.000 US/UN troops in oil rich Darfur.*
The growing tragedy of this war - again made in the US - and unfolding further is a major escalation of the geopolitical wars in East Africa. This time between the by many people supported clerics of the 'Union of Islamic Courts' and the US made 'government'. And as always the clownesque and US supporting Quislings of the 'Arab League' led by US/Egyptian Amr Moussa, called yesterday for all parties involved to ''immediately hold a comprehensive cease-fire.'' They'll never say the US junta should stop their killing and destroying too, because then they themselves are stopped. One way or the other.
And the group doing this for profit and power has been stealing also the African continent blind for ages.
